Hansi Flick's Barcelona are reportedly preparing a player swap deal for Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, as per TEAMtalk. The deal will include Ansu Fati, who returned to Catalonia earlier this year from Brighton & Hove Albion after a loan spell.
Manchester United are positive about selling Marcus Rashford in the upcoming transfer window and multiple European clubs are interested in signing him. As per the aforementioned report, the hierarchy at La Blaugrana values Rashford highly and they're keen to bring the Manchester United graduate to Camp Nou.
Ansu Fati plays in the same position as Rashford but the Spanish attacker has failed to earn Hansi Flick's trust. Since his return at La Blaugrana, the 22-year-old has played only seven matches across competitions, failing to record any goal contribution. As a result, the LaLiga giants are ready to sell the Spaniard leave in the upcoming transfer windows.
Barcelona are preparing a player swap deal for Marcus Rashford with Ansu Fati and sporting director Deco has already started working on the offer. However, they're unlikely to complete the deal in January as United also see the Englishman as a bigger asset than Fati.
The 27-year-old has made 426 appearances for the Red Devils, bagging 138 goals and 63 assists across all competitions.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona's Jules Kounde, as per Spanish outlet Fichajes.net. The Spanish manager aims to improve the squad in the long term and sees Jules Kounde as a crucial upgrade in the defense.
Arsenal are keen to end their major trophy drought and for that, they're ready to recruit new players. French defender Jules Kounde has emerged as a new target for the Gunners. As per the aforementioned report, the Frenchman is valued at €75 million but Arteta believes that his side requires a new defender.
Kounde joined La Blaugrana from Sevilla in June 2022 on a five-year contract and has played 113 matches for the side, bagging four goals and 16 assists since. His current contract with Hansi Flick's side will expire in the summer of 2027.
