Real Madrid's Brahim Diaz turned down a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer, according to Relevo. The Moroccan international was in fine form last campaign, registering 12 goals and nine assists from 45 games across competitions.

Despite the presence of Jude Bellingham in the team, Diaz held his own and was an important ingredient in Los Blancos' success last season. The LaLiga giants won the league, the Champions League as well as the Supercopa de Espana last campaign.

The Parisians were impressed with his efforts and wanted him at the Parc des Princes over the summer. Manager Luis Enrique is apparently a fan of the 25-year-old and believes that he is a perfect fit in his tactics.

However, Diaz turned down a move to the Ligue 1 champions, as he is determined to succeed with Real Madrid. The player is under contract with the Spanish giants until 2027, so the club have no urgency to let him go either.

While Diaz is yet to replicate last season's form with Los Blancos, he remains a key part of the club's plans. The Moroccan international has registered two goals and three assists from 17 games across competitions this campaign.

He is part of a Real Madrid team that have struggled this season. However, with much of the season left and Los Blancos still fighting on multiple fronts, Brahim Diaz is likely to play an important role in the coming months.

Real Madrid are worried that David Alaba will need up to March to get up to speed, according to recent reports. The Austrian defender is missing in action since December last year after rupturing his ACL.

His absence has been a huge setback for Los Blancos. They initially appeared to deal with the situation quite well, even winning multiple trophies last season.

However, things have taken a turn for the worse following Eder Militao's second ACL injury in 18 months in November. Carlo Ancelotti has already revealed that Alaba will be available for selection from the start of 2025, which will be a huge boost for Real Madrid.

However, the club are wary of rushing him back and believe that the player will need some time to return to his pre-injury levels. Alaba has registered 102 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish champions till date and his contract expires in 2026.
