It's been eight years since Drake performed in Australia for his Boy Meets World Tour. The rapper recently revealed that he would return to the continent next year for his "Anita Max Wynn Tour".
The Canadian rapper revealed plans for his upcoming 2025 tour in a livestream uploaded to the rapper's official Kick account. He started off his stream, alongside popular gaming streamer xQc, confirming the tour will begin on February 9.
In viral clips from the stream, uploaded by media outlets like NFR Podcast, Drizzy mentions cities like Melbourne and Sydney as potential destinations for the Anita Max Wynn Tour, explaining:
"I'm coming back to Australia on tour. Funny enough, it's called the Anita Max Wynn Tour. Melbourne, Sydney, Goldcoast... Lotta W's in the chat, "Anita Max Wynn Tour, February 9th to March"
While the rapper didn't reveal much, it does appear he intends to take his newly announced World Tour to Australia in the next few months.
Drizzy hosted a live stream on Sunday night, featuring him alongside French-Canadian streamer xQc, with the duo discussing everything from music to gambling while playing multiple games on Stake.
Filled with viral moments from Drizzy allegedly taking shots at Kendrick Lamar to announcing a new world tour, clips from the event have generated millions of interactions across social media platforms.
Here are some of the most viral moments from Drake and xQc's Sunday livestream.
While listening to xQc's shuffle play, The Weeknd's 2016 chart-topping hit Starboy, can be heard playing in the background. The OVO CEO then suggests changing the song, a reaction which seemingly stems from the 2024 rap beef, stating:
"You've got to switch the song... we're real 6ixers"
Drizzy brought a friend and professional mentalist, Kevin Hamdan, as a guest feature on Sunday's stream. Canada's top mentalist proceeded to perform multiple stunts, from card tricks to mental illusions, on xQc.
Another artist who was seemingly dissed during the stream was American alternative singer-songwriter, Steve Lacy. While playing games on Stake, Drizzy praises the singer's music but refers to him as a "fragile opp."
When discussing fashion and Drizzy's candle merchandise, the rapper decided to address active viewers in the livestream's chat. He claims them to be "ruthless" but suggests he loves everybody who hates him when he states:
"We love all the sh*t talkers, all the crip walkers, we love you guys, it is what it is. We love the chirps... Trust me."
The "crip walkers" line could a be possible diss at Kendrick Lamar's fanbase for the supposed Drake hate that increased ever since the 2024 beef wrapped up. Crip Walk is a dance that originated in the West Coast.
The first subliminal shot that was allegedly thrown toward Kendrick Lamar came at the start of the live stream, when Drizzy toasted himself and xQc, stating:
"This is xQc, a real streaming legend. I do music, in case didn't know. Mind, Body, and Soul... You need facts to take me out, fairytales won't do it. Words to live by, real talk"
Shouting out several people at the start of the stream, Drake shows love to OVO signee PARTYNEXTDOOR, whose upcoming collaboration project with Drizzy is expected to drop before the year ends.
"Me and Party's album is like 70-75% done. Shout out to PX, album sound incredible. Shout out to the Six, the whole city, anybody watching from Canada. We Love you." - Drake stated.
More than 12 hours after clips from Sunday's livestream went viral, leaked screenshots of Kendrick Lamar seemingly responding to Drizzy's statements have started to surface on platforms like X (formerly Twitter).
