According to a video posted by @AkademiksTV via X on November 25, 2024, American rapper Wack 100 called out Snoopy Badazz for dissing Kendrick Lamar's newly released album GNX.
At the start of the video, Wack 100 said that he stays out of some things but some things, he has to get into. Addressing Snoopy Badazz's comments on Lamar's GNX, especially the one defending Drake, Wack 100 said:
"I don’t like what I’m seeing bro. Kendrick just dropped his album. It’s like you trying to create something to gaslight n****s over there in Compton to start saying s*** negative towards Drake."
He continued:
"This ain’t the way. Like, keep the peace homie. Ain’t been no issues with Kendrick and Drake. It was a healthy rap battle."
Referring to Snoopy Badazz's claims about connecting with "top dudes at OVO" which is Drake's record label, Wack addressed Badazz by his name and said he doesn't know what he is doing and he doesn't get it either. He added that he's been online with Drake's team and they don't know Badazz, they have no plans to come to Compton, and neither had they talked to Badazz.
Additionally, Wack 100 responded to Snoopy Badazz, offering Drake to connect with him if Drizzy wanted to come to L.A. or Compton which is Lamar's hometown. Commenting on the same, Wack 100 said that as far as he knows his homies in Compton aren't talking about doing anything to Drake. Wack 100 mentioned:
"What you trying to do is say you bringing him over there to a certain location so n****s can start getting on the internet, making threats and saying crazy s*** but we ain’t doing that."
According to a video posted by @AkademiksTV via X on November 24, 2024, Compton rapper Snoopy Badazz expressed his opinion on Drake being a better rapper than Kendrick Lamar. Additionally, he also put forth speculations of people talking negatively about Drizzy in Compton.
Saying, "Drake clearly the better artist", Badazz said that he won't let haters turn the situation into something it isn't. Claiming that he got off the phone with people from Drake's record label OVO, Badazz said that he assured them that Drake would be "good in Bompton" and in L.A. Snoopy Badazz mentioned:
"Whenever Drake wanna hit Bompton, whenever Drake wanna hit L.A., he can tap in with me. When you hit L.A., y’all good homie. I get him through here. Ain’t nobody worried about what these dudes talking about."
While he defended Drake in the video while dissing Lamar's album, Badazz took to Instagram Stories on November 23, 2024, to call Kendrick Lamar's album trash. In the Instagram story, Snoopy Badazz mentioned that Lamar was rapping like he was trying to "free the slaves". He also called GNX s**t and trash.
The rapper has been signed to Snoop Dogg's record label, Death Row Records since 2022. Additionally, the rapper launched Killer Incorporated Records in December 2022. While Killer Inc Records comes under Snoop Dogg's label, Badazz's vision behind creating it was to sign artists who represent West Coast music.
