With rising tensions between Soulja Boy and Plies, the former reignited the feud by hosting an Instagram live on December 1, 2024, where he addressed the copyright infringement lawsuit filed against him. Furthermore, during the live session, Soulja Boy also clowned Plies’ new single, This Ain’t Normal.

Soulja said:

“I got rap n*ggas suing me. Plies ain’t got sh*t on me. N*gga what? Sit your a*s down somewhere, you crazy man. You're right, this sh*t ain’t normal. This sh*t irregular.”

The fiasco happened after Plies filed a lawsuit claiming that Soulja took elements from his 2008 hit track, Me & My Goons, for his track, Pretty Boy Swag, released in 2010. Furthermore, he has also sued other artists like GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B for their collaborative track, Wanna Be, and made similar claims.

While both Soulja Boy and Plies have a huge fan base, and derive a massive fortune from their released songs, however, as per Celebrity Net Worth, Soulja Boy has a net worth of $5 million, while Plies has a net worth of $6 million.
