Former One Direction member, Liam Payne, tragically passed away after falling from the third floor of a Buenos Aires hotel on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

News of Payne's untimely death has sparked an outpouring of grief across social media, with close associates, collaborators, and celebrities like Charlie Puth and Paris Hilton posting heartfelt tributes to the late star and extending their condolences to his family.

Ex-bandmate Zayn Malik took to Instagram to post a picture of both him and Liam, where he stated:

"I lost a brother when you left us and can't explain to you what I'd give to just give you a hug one last time and say goodbye to you properly and tell you that I loved and respected you dearly. I will cherish all the memories I have with you in my heart forever."

Amid the grief, several conspiracy theories emerged, with some alleging Liam Payne's passing was part of a "ritualistic sacrifice". Theorists are pointing to the late star's age, his music, and even his 33 million follower count on X (formerly Twitter) to support their claims.

The conspiracies often use examples of other notable figures who died under mysterious circumstances, with many seemingly fixated on the fact that Liam Payne's passing occurred during a full moon.

Additional reactions have surfaced from individuals who appear to believe in these conspiracies, speculating that "satanic rituals," and secret societies like the Freemasons were somehow involved in this unfortunate incident.

"3 floor and 31 years old, 33 masonic as we all know" - Cited another.
"Yep. As soon as I saw “3rd floor” and then the pictures of the tin foil, the champagne.. etc I knew it was a setup to make him look high and make this out as a freak accident." - A fan claimed.
"There's that number again. Oh well, I'm sure it's just nothing and I'm a "Conspiracy Theorist" haha" - A theorist stated.
"M for mason" - An individual suggested.

Although conspiracy theories relating to Liam Payne's death are currently widespread on social media, several fans were found targetting these posts for being disrespectful to the late singer's legacy and his family.

Individuals appeared under comment sections of these "conspiracy posts" to shut down rumors of alleged satanic involvement or Freemason rituals playing a role in Liam's passing.

She says she saw him do drugs right in front of her and he acted aggressive and destroyed some of the property in the hotel room. That's when he fell to his death like literally not everything's a conspiracy like Respect the Dead.." - An individual stated.
"Oh for fxck sake!! Stop spreading all this bullsh*t! Have you got nothing better to do?!" - A fan shuts down rumors surrounding Liam's passing.

Liam Payne's preliminary autopsy reveals early forensic reports, intoxication, and more

The prosecutor's office in Argentina released Liam Payne's initial autopsy report, confirming the late singer died from "internal and external" traumas induced by his three-story fall.

The singer was residing at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, with reports from the tragedy citing authorities were called and informed about Liam's residence in concern of his well being few hours before his passing.

According to a 911 call, hotel staff observed Liam's distressed state and seemingly witnessed the star "overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol," with Payne reportedly “destroying" his room.

According to the Argentina National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office, the singer was supposedly "under the influence" of substances when he fell from the balcony of his hotel room, at approximately 5:07 p.m.

According to the preliminary autopsy report, Liam Payne's body was studied and examined by forensic experts at the country's Judicial Morgue. Doctors confirmed at least 25 injuries, both internal and external, which included trauma to his skull, abdomen, and limbs.

The report suggests that there was no third-party involvement, as no signs of defensive wounds were identified on Payne's body. Additionally, the position of his body indicated that he was likely "partially or fully unconscious" at the time of the fall.


Investigators and experts are still awaiting further toxicology reports to determine the complete extent to which reported substance use may have contributed to Payne's tragic death.

Liam Payne is survived by his 7-year-old son, Bear, whom he shares with former model and ex-partner Cheryl Cole.
