“We’re never getting the album”- Fans react as Playboi Carti cancels Rolling Loud Thailand performance hours before schedule
Playboi Carti canned two upcoming festival performances and social media had a lot to say. Carti was slated to perform at Wireless Abu Dhabi on Saturday, November 23 but ended up pulling out hours before hitting the stage. The festival went ahead without the rapper and the organizers assured a refund of 30 percent of their ticket price.
Carti was also all set to perform at Rolling Loud Thailand on Sunday night, November 24, set to take place in Legend Siam in Pattaya City. However, the rapper ended up canceling his performance due to "travel issues". The official social media statement from Rolling Loud Thailand regarding the situation read:
"Unfortunately, Playboi Carti is unable to perform tonight due to travel issues. We made some calls and Yeat will now be joining the lineup for his first ever Rolling Loud performance. Let's go crazy one more time this weekend. See you later today!"
Fans of the rapper did not take too kindly to his disappearance and speculated that they were not going to get his new album anytime soon. One X (formerly Twitter) user tweeted:

Playboi Carti's cancellation prompts Wireless Festival Middle East to give out a 30 percent refund on tickets
As mentioned earlier, Wireless Festival Middle East released a social media statement on Saturday, confirming that Playboi Carti won't be performing at Wireless Abu Dhabi. Carti was billed as the headliner of the festival, which eventually took place at Etihad Park without him.
The organizers stated that Playboi Carti's decision to cancel was "unfortunate and last minute". Wireless Festival Middle East told fans:
"We share in your disappointment and frustration, as we have worked tirelessly to deliver an unforgettable event for everyone. We remain fully committed to delivering an incredible festival experience to all attendees,"
The festival boasted an incredible lineup of artists including 21 Savage, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang, before proclaiming:
"As a gesture of goodwill, we will be refunding you 30% of your ticket price. This will automatically be returned to your payment card via Ticketmaster within 5 to 10 days - please do not visit the box office for this refund."
Wireless Festival Middle East concluded its statement by thanking attendees for their understanding and continued support.
