A report from the Houston Police Department stated that Lil Reese and the woman were inside the nightclub when the former forcefully tried to kiss her. However, Reese became frustrated at one point and reportedly punched her in the right cheek and str*ngled her, making it difficult for her to breathe.

The woman suffered severe injuries to her face and neck, and she was also accompanied by a friend, who immediately informed the nightclub security about the incident.
