36-year-old star reacts after pinning Trick Williams on NXT
An NXT star pulled off a surprise win by pinning Trick Williams. He has now reacted to this win.
Ridge Holland has undergone a massive change after joining NXT. Shortly after moving to NXT, he joined Chase U, and they even won the NXT Tag Team Championship. This was his first title win in the WWE.
However, immediately after losing the NXT Tag Team Championship, Ridge Holland turned on Chase U and brutally attacked Andre Chase. This marked his heel turn. Since then, Ridge has been a different person.
After beating Andre Chase in an Ambulance match at NXT Halloween Havoc, Ridge made it clear he plans on winning the NXT Championship by attacking Trick Williams. Luckily, Trick was saved by Bubba Ray Dudley.
Tonight on NXT, Trick Williams teamed with Bubba Ray Dudley to face the team of Ethan Page and Ridge. During the match, Ridge managed to pin Trick with a roll-up. Following this win, the 36-year-old has now taken to social media to comment on it.
"Those tears taste the sweetest," he wrote.
