A top WWE Superstar shared a throwback photo of himself on social media. The 360lbs Otis looks almost unrecognizable in the older image.
Earlier this year, Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri parted ways with Chad Gable. The former Alpha Academy member subsequently joined forces with Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers to form a new faction known as American Made.
The former RAW Tag Team Champion shared a throwback Thursday photo on his X (fka Twitter) account. The image featured Otis posing with his WIAA Wrestling Heavyweight Championship placard from the 2009-2010 season at Superior Senior High School. The 33-year-old WWE Superstar looked remarkably different compared to his current physique.

After Alpha Academy members Chad Gable and Otis ended their alliance, many assumed that the latter would be involved in a heated feud with Otis. However, this did not materialize, as the former Olympian was instead targeted by The Wyatt Sicks.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, former WWE head writer Vince Russo criticized the promotion's creative booking, recalling a specific instance where a match between Akira Tozawa and Chad Gable was seemingly used to set up a future feud with Otis.
However, the company failed to capitalize on this potential storyline, never bringing it to fruition. Russo used this instance to highlight the company's tendency to abandon promising storylines without explanation.
"It was Tozawa against Gable. Okay bro, so they're gonna give us Gable and Otis six months later? Remember that? Remember like they went there and they never did anything for whatever reason," he said.

The wrestling world appears to be eager for the 360-pound star to win a singles championship in the Stamford-based promotion. However, fans will have to wait and see if World Wrestling Entertainment grants Otis this opportunity following the premiere of Monday Night RAW on Netflix ahead of WrestleMania 41.
