CM Punk was seen in action at the recent WWE Live Holiday Tour. The company released new backstage footage on social media featuring Seth Rollins observing The Second City Saint in the ring before their highly anticipated showdown on the Netflix premiere of RAW.

The Visionary has been vocal about his disdain towards Punk ever since he returned to the company last year at Survivor Series: WarGames. The heat between these two superstars is finally set to culminate on the January 6, 2025, episode of the red brand, which will be broadcast on Netflix.

RAW Superstars recently took a trip to Madison Square Garden, in New York City on December 26, 2024. At the live event, Seth Rollins faced Dominik Mysterio, while The Best in the World collided with Ludwig Kaiser.

On Instagram, WWE dropped a new backstage video showcasing The Revolutionary keeping a close eye on CM Punk and Kaiser's match at the MSG show prior to their bout on RAW's Netflix debut.

WWE Hall of Famer believes CM Punk and Seth Rollins must be disciplined more severely

On the December 16, 2024, installment of the red brand, the two former WWE World Champions engaged in a chaotic brawl. Several officials and security guards had to intervene to separate CM Punk and Seth Rollins.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long suggested that Adam Pearce should have intervened during the brawl between The Architect and The Voice of the Voiceless. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that the RAW General Manager should have issued a strong warning or taken disciplinary action to prevent things from escalating further between Punk and Rollins:

"When I see something that could be better, it bothers me. So I am saying I would have liked to see maybe two real strong pull-parts, ok? Now, after you do that, when they go to do that third one, here comes the GM... Adam Pearce comes down, and he puts a foot down and let these two guys know, 'Listen, one more thing and you are suspended, or either you are out or whatever,'" Long said.

Fans will have to wait and see if the bad blood between Punk and Rollins will be resolved on the historic RAW episode, or if a potential WrestleMania match is in the books.
