A wrestling veteran shared an interesting message ahead of the upcoming edition of WWE RAW. The red brand will be debuting on Netflix tomorrow night and will air live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.
Pentagon Jr. was a popular star in All Elite Wrestling, but his contract came to an end last year. The veteran is in a tag team with his brother, Rey Fenix, known as the Lucha Bros. Fenix was also rumored to be heading to WWE, but time may have been added to his AEW contract due to injury.
Ahead of tomorrow night's episode of WWE RAW on Netflix, Pentagon Jr. took to his Instagram to share a new photo, and you can check it out in the post below.
The promotion has been airing mysterious vignettes in recent weeks on RAW that seemingly point toward Pentagon Jr. making his debut with the company soon.
Wrestling insider WrestleVotes recently provided some insight into Pentagon Jr.'s status with the promotion.
During a Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes addressed the teasers shown on RAW and confirmed that they were likely for the former AEW star. The insider also suggested that Penta would be making his debut for the promotion during tomorrow night's historic episode of RAW.
"A source confirmed that's likely Penta. He didn't wanna go on record and say it was. It certainly seems like it is. You know, Joe, when they do these packages in house they're trying to keep something a surprise. They're not gonna label it; even the people making it may not be sure what it's for. But I did talk to somebody who said it was likely Penta. So, look for Pentagon on January 6th." [05:49 onwards]
The Lucha Bros defeated Private Party on the July 17, 2024, episode of AEW Rampage, and it was Pentagon Jr.'s final match with the promotion. Rey Fenix has seemingly been unhappy with his contract situation in All Elite Wrestling and has been sharing cryptic messages on social media lately.
It will be fascinating to see what the future holds for the Lucha Bros and if both stars will ultimately end up in WWE down the line.
