Adam Pearce has hilarious exchange with major WWE star following backstage meeting on RAW
WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce had a hilarious exchange on social media today with a major star following a backstage meeting last night. The red brand debuted on Netflix this past Monday and featured cameos from legends such as The Rock, John Cena, The Undertaker, and Hulk Hogan.
Bayley is currently listed as a SmackDown star but was spotted having a conversation with Adam Pearce backstage during last night's episode of RAW. The Role Model shared a photo of her meeting with Pearce on RAW and added the caption, "Netflix and chill?"
Pearce reacted with a hilarious image of himself looking at his phone, as seen in the post below.
The former WWE Women's Champion responded to the RAW General Manager and humorously called him an idiot.
"Relax ya idiot!!!!!!" she wrote.
Bayley competed in the Women's United States Championship tournament on SmackDown but was eliminated by Chelsea Green in the semifinals. Green went on to win the tournament and became the inaugural Women's United States Champion at Saturday Night's Main Event last month.
Adam Pearce explains the role of a WWE General Manager
Adam Pearce recently explained what the role of a WWE General Manager is supposed to be.
Pearce shared a clip from his appearance on Chris Van Vliet's INSIGHT podcast and explained the basic rules of being a General Manager. The former NWA star noted that the GM plays a supporting role for the stars of the show and is there to help the audience understand the storyline.
"This position [of a General manager], okay, it's a supporting character on a television show that, by definition, isn't there to overshadow or step on the superstars. They are the beacons that we want the eyes focused on. But the General Manager or the WWE Official that I played for years before that, that's an informational conduit to what you just said, to make sure that everybody understands the context to what is happening with these larger-than-life characters that are on their screens every Monday and every Friday," he said.

Vince Russo believes there is nothing left for Bayley to do besides reunite with Damage CTRL on WWE RAW. It will be interesting to see if she makes the switch from SmackDown to RAW after being spotted having a conversation with Pearce last night on the red brand.
