Former WWE Women's World Champion Becky Lynch recently discussed her connection with The Rock and two other wrestling legends. The names in question are Mick Foley and Lita.
After dropping and failing to regain the Women's World Championship against Liv Morgan earlier this year, Becky Lynch went on a hiatus. The Man's WWE contract expired in June 2024, and rumors have since been circulating of her retirement. However, Big Time Becks recently debunked those rumors, mentioning that she was not done with wrestling yet. However, the Irish star did not reveal when she would return to television.
During an interview at the Vulture Festival, Becky Lynch mentioned that she had a personal connection with WWE legends like The Rock, Mick Foley, and Lita as they were her childhood heroes. The 37-year-old added that after meeting them in real life, she believed they were lovely human beings.
"Yeah. So, he [Mick Foley] was amazing. Like you know, when people say, 'Don't meet your heroes,' I don't think they're talking about wrestlers because any of my heroes that I had growing up, like Lita, is one of my favorite people. Mick Foley, one of my favorite people, The Rock. Just a bunch of lovely lads," she said.
Lynch also talked about how Mick Foley helped her with her book, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, revealing that the Hardcore icon once talked to her for eight hours on the phone to discuss the manuscript.
"So anyway, I asked him for advice, and he took my manuscript. He wanted to print it out because he wanted to make notes on all of it. And he spent eight hours on the phone one day with me, just going through page by page. And he was like, down to the details, like commas and full stops. I was like, 'I think I'll have a copywriter for that, Mick. But go on.' Yeah, amazing!" she added. [6:47-7:38]

At the start of this year, The Rock returned to WWE TV and joined Roman Reigns' Bloodline to give fans one of the best storylines of the year. The Brahma Bull and the Original Tribal Chief started a feud with Cody Rhodes and Becky Lynch's husband, Seth Rollins.
At WrestleMania XL Night One, The Final Boss and the OTC teamed up to face The American Nightmare and The Visionary in a tag team match. The Great One pinned Cody to pick up a victory for his team.
The Rock went on a hiatus from WWE television post-RAW after WrestleMania XL due to his commitments in Hollywood. However, he promised that he would return to restart his feud with Cody Rhodes. The Great One showed up at Bad Blood 2024 and performed a cryptic gesture towards Roman, Cody, and Jimmy Uso.
It will be interesting to see if Seth Rollins once again gets involved in a potential feud between The Final Boss and The American Nightmare in the coming months.
