WWE legend credits Roman Reigns for 40-year-old star's inclusion in The Bloodline saga

The Bloodline storyline, initiated by Roman Reigns four years ago, has evolved into a multi-layered saga in WWE. Recently, Paul Heyman credited The Original Tribal Chief for including a 40-year-old star in the long-running family narrative.

After Sami Zayn lost to Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania 38, he sought favor with The Bloodline. The former Intercontinental Champion helped the faction on several occasions before being deemed an Honorary Uce.

The Master Strategist spent the last two years with and against Roman Reigns. Zayn has now reunited with The OG Bloodline for the upcoming Men's WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series.

In an interview with Shakiel Mahjouri on SHAK Wrestling, Paul Heyman revealed that the OTC was the driving force behind the idea of incorporating Sami Zayn into The Bloodline storyline. The Wiseman further said Roman Reigns recognized the 40-year-old WWE Superstar's ability to explore deeper layers of the group's characters.

"After he did the shtick match with Johnny Knoxville, that [was] when the idea came up about Sami Zayn. Roman [Reigns] was all over it. Roman deserves all the credit for that because Roman was just like, 'My God, the layers that he can expose in all of us, that Sami would be the conduit to expose so much about us in The Bloodline,'" Heyman said. Bloodline member breaks character to praise Sami Zayn heading into WWE Survivor Series

CM Punk, Sami Zayn, The Usos, and Roman Reigns will face off against the new Bloodline's Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Solo Sikoa, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed in a WarGames bout on November 30. Ahead of the show, The YEET Master praised the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.

In a recent interview with Peter Rosenberg at ComplexCon, Jey Uso appreciated Sami Zayn's acting skills and in-ring abilities, highlighting his experience of working with the 40-year-old WWE star.

"Sami's one of my favorite guys to work with. Also, one of my favorite workers. The way he talks, he's got skills, man. He's an actor. He can work. He's good. He's safe in the ring. So, I'm very glad he's on my team right now," Uso said.
