WWE Superstar Chelsea Green retained her Women's United States Championship on this week's SmackDown. Following the Friday Night Show, The Hot Mess took to social media and fired major shots at her current rival.
On the January 10, 2025, edition of SmackDown, Michin (FKA Mia Yim) challenged Chelsea Green for the Women's United States Championship. This match marked Green's first title defense since her historic victory at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, 2024.
Despite dominating much of the match, the former member of The O.C. ultimately suffered defeat. A distraction by Piper Niven proved to be the decisive factor, allowing The Hot Mess to capitalize and overcome Michin.
In a backstage interview with Byron Saxton following her loss to Chelsea Green, the 35-year-old WWE star delivered a strong promo, targeting both the reigning Women's US Champion and Niven.
On X (formerly Twitter), Chelsea Green insulted Michin by calling her "dumb." The Canadian boasted about her intelligence and claimed to be always right, leaving no room for her rival's perspective.
"I'm smart, you're dumb. I win, you lose. I'm right, you're wrong, and there's nothing you can do about it!" she wrote.

In 2020, Robert Stone managed Chelsea Green on the NXT brand. Their partnership achieved significant success before the female superstar transitioned to the main roster.
During an interview with The Wrestling Classic, The Hot Mess expressed her desire to reunite with Robert Stone on the main roster. Green praised the 41-year-old WWE star's work ethic, shared mentality, and creative mind, highlighting their potential to elevate each other's careers.
"I would love, love, love to be paired with Robert [Stone]. I think we have the same mentality, and we work hard. We're always thinking about character stuff. Our minds don't shut off in that way. I would love to go back and run it back a little with Robert Stone. Bring him to the main roster. I think, at the end of the day, people forget how talented he was in the ring as well. We get glimmers of it, but it's not the same. We need him back on the main roster killing it," she said.
Only time will tell if WWE plans to book another match between Chelsea Green and Michin for the Women's United States Championship.
