Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently discussed CM Punk's participation at Survivor Series WarGames. The star showed up on SmackDown this past Friday to join Roman Reigns and his entourage.
Paul Heyman delivered a major coup as he enlisted The Best in the World as the fifth member of Team Reigns at Survivor Series. Punk rushed to the ring on Friday and helped The Original Tribal Chief and his team tackle The Bloodline.
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo mentioned that the only way to redeem Rollins was if he interfered in the Survivor Series WarGames match and cost the babyfaces a potential win. He felt this would further The Visionary's feud with Punk, leading to a future showdown between the two megastars.
"The only thing they could possibly do to make things interesting is if Rollins scre*s Punk and costs the babyfaces that match. Because you got Rollins who's the babyface, he didn't want to go in. The heels scre*ed him, then CM Punk jumps at that opportunity. If Rollins has an issue with that and scre*s Punk, great. If they don't do that, CM Punk was just for the pop. On Friday, CM Punk and Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown to discuss their partnership ahead of Survivor Series. It will be interesting to see how the unlikely alliance between Reigns and Punk works out on November 30.
