Cody Rhodes sent a heartfelt message to WWE fans today on social media. The 39-year-old will be squaring off against Gunther for the Crown Jewel Championship at the Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia next month.

The company is currently on tour in the United Kingdom, and the final show of the tour will take place tonight. Rhodes shared a heartwarming moment with a fan undergoing chemotherapy at a recent WWE Live Event.

Ahead of tonight's show in Manchester, Rhodes took to Instagram to send a message to fans. He noted that the tour of the United Kingdom had been incredible so far and added that they wanted to finish the tour on a high note.

"These tours in the UK are always special. To Cardiff, Liverpool, and Newcastle…you’ve been INCREDIBLE. Let’s finish strong tonight #WWEManchester," he wrote.

Rhodes teamed up with Roman Reigns to defeat The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood earlier this month. However, he was attacked by Kevin Owens next to his tour bus in the parking lot following the show. Owens also unleashed an attack on Randy Orton this past Friday night on SmackDown.

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently criticized Kevin Owens' attack on Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo suggested that the parking lot brawl looked staged. The legend also ridiculed Owens for throwing "rabbit punches" at Cody Rhodes during his scuffle with Rhodes earlier this month.

"Bro, the freaking bar has been so lowered that people actually believe that Owens attacking Cody was shot by a fan. They actually believe it was a shoot regardless of Kevin Owens throwing namby-pamby rabbit punches. Are you kidding me, bro? That could not have looked any more fake." [From 27:16 onwards]

Cody Rhodes has eliminated Gunther in the past two Men's Royal Rumble Matches. The two stars have never had a singles match against each other ahead of their bout at WWE Crown Jewel. Only time will tell which star will leave the Premium Live Event as the Crown Jewel Champion.
