WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan made a big claim shortly after Donald Trump named Linda McMahon as the nominee for the post of Secretary of Education. The Hulkster noted that Trump said he would be great to run the President’s Council on Physical Fitness.
Donald Trump recently made waves among the WWE Universe and the pro wrestling business by picking Linda McMahon as the Secretary of Education nominee. Now, there's a chance of him giving another massive pro wrestling name a major role in his administration.
WWE legend Hulk Hogan recently appeared on FOX News for a media byte. He said the following to Brian Kilmeade:
“My President said, ‘You know something Hogan, you’d be great to run the President’s Council on Physical Fitness.' (…) At the end of the day, when I was in the back at Madison Square Garden after the whole rally, we were talking about Robert Kennedy, I was talking about nutrition, and how many foreign countries won’t even let their people eat the food that we eat here in America. It’s so bad, and it’s poisoned a generation of kids. And at the end of the day, we start talking about physical fitness.” [H/T - EwrestlingNews]
Trump survived an assassination attempt on July 13, 2024. Shortly after, Hogan had a talk with Patrick Bet-David on the PBD Podcast. Here's what he said about the incident:
"When they tried to kill Trump, someone that I knew personally, it affected me worse and I sat up off the couch. I said that’s it, this has to stop. I don’t want to split my audience as a businessman, but now I don’t care. This is much more than business, this is a spiritual revolution now." [H/T ToI]
Only time will tell if Trump picks Hogan to lead the President’s Council on Physical Fitness. The WWE Hall of Famer still looks in incredible shape at 71 years old.
