Goldberg is reportedly set for a sendoff from WWE in 2025. The Hall of Famer recently appeared on the company's programming. However, he hasn't competed inside the squared circle in almost three years.
During a recent edition of Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes provided a major update on Goldberg's in-ring future, noting the former world champion would be having his farewell next year.
"Yeah, Goldberg's for sure wrestling at least one, probably two matches in 2025. No, I can almost bet he won't be winning a title, He won't be winning the Royal Rumble, he won't be winning the Elimination Chamber." [26:10 onwards]
WrestleVotes further dismissed the impression that Da Man could be involved in a title program as he did during his previous run with the company.
"No, I don't think it's a (...) I don't think it's a program like that he's coming back for. I think it's more of a send-off, more of a we'll put you in a good spot, we'll get you a couple wins type of thing." [26:25 onwards]
The Hall of Famer's last WWE appearance saw him jump the barricade to confront Gunther at Bad Blood 2024. It remains to be seen whether The Ring General will be the next, and possibly the last, opponent for Da Man.
