Major WWE star reveals he wants to shave off Dominik Mysterio's mustache
A major WWE Superstar revealed he was hoping to shave off Dominik Mysterio's mustache. The latter is currently in a storyline relationship with Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and is a member of The Judgment Day on WWE RAW.
The promotion recently shared a video featuring several stars disclosing their goals for 2025. CM Punk was asked what he wanted to accomplish this year and revealed that he wanted to shave off Dirty Dom's mustache. The 27-year-old was Punk's first opponent during his return to WWE and the two squared off in a couple of house show matches in December 2023:
"Win the Royal Rumble. Beat everybody. Win all the titles. Continue to make The New Day dress in the janitor's closet, and shave Dominik Mysterio's mustache," he said. [From 00:31 - 00:38]
CM Punk is scheduled to battle Seth Rollins on the debut episode of RAW on Netflix on January 6. The two stars traded words in the final segment of the red brand on the USA Network this past Monday night.
Former WWE star makes major prediction about Dominik Mysterio
Alberto Del Rio recently made a bold prediction about Dominik Mysterio's career in WWE.
During a Q&A with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Del Rio noted that The Judgment Day star was doing a great job and likely learned much from his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. The 47-year-old added that the former North American Champion had found his persona and was killing it:
"He's killing it. He's doing a fantastic job. It makes me so happy to see this story of success because I know we work for the fans, but sometimes the fans are a little bit unfair, and I remember fans destroying Dominik Mysterio years ago, just bashing him about stuff and comparing him with his dad. But he never wanted to be like his dad. Of course, he learned from the best, he learned from Rey Mysterio and many others, but he was just trying to find his character, his persona in the industry. He did it already and he's killing it." [6:19 – 7:09]
The veteran then predicted that Mysterio would capture a world title in the company by the beginning of 2025:
"I'm telling you this, Dominik is gonna be a world champion pretty soon, probably at the beginning of next year." [7:10 – 7:18]
