Footage has surfaced online from this past Friday's edition of WWE SmackDown following Paul Heyman's return that shows clear cracks in The Bloodline. The Wiseman returned on SmackDown to announce that CM Punk was the fifth member of the OG Bloodline's team for the Men's WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series.
A video has surfaced online showing Heyman leaving the ring and sharing a hug with The Usos. The Hall of Famer then made his way up the entrance ramp with CM Punk following behind him. There was no interaction between Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman as they made their way backstage. You can check out the video below.
Heyman was brutally attacked by Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline on the June 28 episode of SmackDown. Heyman was on hiatus for several months before his return this past Friday night. Reigns attempted to call Heyman earlier this month, but the 59-year-old's phone was disconnected.
Sam Roberts recently shared an interesting theory as to why Roman Reigns was unable to get in contact with Paul Heyman earlier this month on WWE SmackDown.
Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts noted that everything The Bloodline shows on television is calculated and thought out. Roberts stated that Solo Sikoa smashing Heyman's phone earlier this year could have been the reason why Reigns could not reach the Hall of Famer:
"If you remember that interview that Paul Heyman did with me at Fanatics Fest, he said it to all of us. There's not one frame of footage that's done by accident when it comes to The Bloodline. So, maybe that moment when Solo Sikoa smashed Heyman's phone was the moment the communication between Heyman and Roman Reigns ceased. And now Roman can't get in contact with Heyman." Solo Sikoa pinned Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel during a six-man tag team match. It will be interesting to see which side emerges victorious during the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series, and if the tension between Reigns and Heyman will be explained in the weeks ahead.
