Jade Cargill was supposed to be on Rhea Ripley's team for the Women's WarGames Match, but the 32-year-old was attacked by a mystery assailant last week on SmackDown. Bayley has been named as Cargill's replacement and helped Bianca Belair defeat Nia Jax this past Monday in the main event of WWE RAW to give her team the advantage at Survivor Series.

Bill Apter praises Rhea Ripley's return to WWE

Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently praised Rhea Ripley's return to the company.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Apter stated that he thought Ripley was losing her edge before her return earlier this month. However, the veteran noted that it appeared that The Eradicator had found her killer instinct once again ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.

"I'm glad Rhea [Ripley] came back because she's more vicious and violent and she's got that killer instinct again. I thought she was getting soft but when she got in the ring again on Monday Night RAW with the other girls and gave that unexpected headbutt to Liv Morgan. You're looking for a prediction? Rhea's team's going to win," said Apter. [0:59-1:30]

Rhea Ripley is still involved in a personal rivalry with Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and the two stars will be on opposing teams during the Women's WarGames Match this weekend.

Rhea Ripley was forced to relinquish the Women's World Championship due to injury following WWE WrestleMania XL, and Morgan captured the title at King and Queen of the Ring earlier this year in Saudi Arabia. Only time will tell which team will emerge victorious in the Women's WarGames Match tomorrow night.
