Team does not show up on WWE SmackDown as Pretty Deadly suffers bad loss

Pretty Deadly had a night to forget on WWE SmackDown, suffering a "pretty" bad loss. The duo of Elton Prince and Kit Wilson were even left hanging by a major team they called out to for help.

The major team in question was DIY. Pretty Deadly was under the impression that the WWE Tag Team Champions owed them one after they helped them over the last few weeks. However, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa did not show up tonight on WWE SmackDown.

Pretty Deadly faced Los Garza in a match to settle their ongoing feud. It was pretty even throughout, with both teams getting the better of the other by hook or crook. However, at one point, Humberto Carillo/Berto and Angel Garza/Angel had the advantage, and that's when Kit Wilson started calling for DIY.

As mentioned earlier, though, the champions did not answer his calls. Nevertheless, it seemed they didn't need the help, as Elton Prince took advantage while the referee was distracted. Unfortunately for Prince, though, Santos Escobar, who was ringside, returned the favor and took him out, handing Los Garza the win.

It will be interesting to see how Pretty Deadly responds to this loss on WWE SmackDown. They put their faith in the wrong team with DIY and have hopefully learned their lesson.
