The Rock is rumored to compete at WWE WrestleMania 41. Meanwhile, a wrestling veteran suggested The Final Boss could face one of the two massive superstars in the promotion at The Showcase of The Immortals in Las Vegas.

The 52-year-old legend initially returned to the Stamford-based company in 2024 to battle his cousin, Roman Reigns, at WrestleMania 40. After plans changed due to fans' reaction to Cody Rhodes' position, The Rock feuded with The American Nightmare heading into The Show of Shows. He returned to the ring after eight years of absence to lead his and Reigns' team to victory against Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a tag team match on Night One. Before going on hiatus, The Final Boss promised the current Undisputed WWE Champion that their story would resume upon his return.

Speaking to The Action Network, former superstar Nick Dinsmore (FKA Eugene) claimed that The Rock could face either Rhodes or Reigns at this year's WrestleMania.

"I hope he [The Rock] will return to WrestleMania, and if so, the storylines are endless, but it depends if he has time for it because The Rock is so busy. Perhaps he can 'finish the story' with Cody Rhodes and have a great match with him or Roman Reigns. They were originally going to fight at the last WrestleMania so that’s another option," he said. Several top WWE Superstars and legends are expected to compete in the upcoming Men's Royal Rumble Match. Meanwhile, fans and experts have been speculating about who would emerge victorious and book his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 41.

Speaking on the Cafe de Rene podcast, wrestling veteran Bin Hamin claimed inside sources have told him that the Stamford-based company is currently planning for The Rock to win the gimmick match. However, Hamin did not rule out the possibility of these plans changing.

"Yeah, win the Rumble? Maybe, they'll switch it. My inside sources, and like, it could change the day of, so, but I heard The Rock is penciled in as the one right now. So, we'll see which way it goes. You never know. An injury or a movie could change either of those f***ing things," he said.
