The Rock reveals new partnership: "Years in the making"

The Rock has recently become the star that everyone is talking about after he returned to WWE earlier this year and also became a member of the TKO Group Holdings Board of Directors. However, the star has now announced a new partnership as well.

In recent years, The Rock has been one of the most successful Hollywood stars, putting out blockbuster after blockbuster. However, with his venture into the DC Universe with Black Adam, the star seemingly suffered a setback, and some fans have turned on him since. His return to WWE came soon after, and was heavily involved at WrestleMania 41, teaming with Roman Reigns to face Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

The star stepped back into WWE at Bad Blood 2024, where he appeared after the main event and seemed to send a cryptic message to Reigns and Rhodes. What exactly he was saying is unclear for now.

Now though, he's shown up with a new partnership of his own with the well-known director, JJ Abrams. He posted a picture together with the director and said that it had been years it the making. He revealed that they had met for a meal and had come up with a partnership. He added that the story they would be telling was from the mind of Zak Penn.

The Rock's appearance at WrestleMania 41 is sure to be a big one

While The Rock has been making deals about movies, he also recently confirmed that he would likely be at WrestleMania 41.

Given the star sent a challenge to Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns both, it remains to be seen who the star will actually feud with. After The Bloodline's coup by Sikoa, there's a lot of speculation that he is the one behind it.

However, the star had also said previously that when he returns to WWE, he will be going after Cody Rhodes for the title. The coming few months should reveal more.
