A popular independent wrestler passed away at the age of 48. WWE officials Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis paid their respects with emotional messages.

Jax Dane made a name for himself in the National Wrestling Alliance from 2012 to 2016. During this time, he became one of their top stars and even won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, Tag Team Championship, National Heavyweight Championship, and North American Heavyweight Championship. He also wrestled for ROH and Impact Wrestling.

Sadly, Jax Dane's life came to an end on December 25, 2024, due to complications from a heart attack he suffered in November. Tributes for the star poured in from fans and fellow wrestlers. Even WWE official Adam Pearce, who has shared the ring with Jax in the past, paid tribute to him with a beautiful message on social media.

"Only the good die young. I don’t have the words, Godzilla. I’m forever grateful for the time we shared. And for the laughs. And the potatoes. And the random convos out of nowhere about life. Rest well, brother. Godspeed,@TheJaxDane. 🙏❤️"

WWE official Nick Aldis also sent a message to Jax Dane

Jax Dane was in NWA around the same time that Nick Aldis was part of the roster. As a result, Aldis may have shared the same locker room with Dax. However, the two men never shared the ring. Despite this, they may have developed a mutual admiration and respect for each other's craft.

After the news of Jax Dane's death was announced, WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis posted a message about his former colleague on social media.

".@TheJaxDane was a total gentleman, a teddy bear, and a great presence in the locker room. A truly good man. His family are in my prayers. Goodbye my friend. RIP."
