A WWE veteran recently made a surprising claim about the legendary faction The Shield. The group featured Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose, who is now known as Jon Moxley in AEW.

Wrestling veteran Kevin Nash recently made an interesting comment about The Shield on his Kliq This podcast. Nash stated that the trio was only a faction because they did not have a blood oath with each other. The WWE Hall of Famer added that he doesn't think the group was still working together to accomplish anything.

"I don’t know of one political move that The Kliq did backstage that in any way, form, or fashion pushed an agenda. [The Shield] was a faction. I just don’t think that they had a blood oath…I don’t think the three of them are working together for any common purpose [right now]," Nash said. [H/T: Fightful]

Zoey Stark reacts to her WWE faction being compared to The Shield

WWE RAW star Zoey Stark recently commented on her faction being compared to The Shield.

Zoey Stark debuted on the main roster at the 2023 Night of Champions and helped Trish Stratus defeat Becky Lynch at the premium live event in Saudi Arabia. However, Stark would eventually betray Stratus following her loss to Lynch at WWE Payback last year.

Stark is a member of the Pure Fusion Collective on RAW alongside Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler. In an interview with Denise Salcedo at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, the 30-year-old shared that she was pleased that the faction was being compared to the iconic group.

"It's been very, very interesting. Some comments were like, 'Okay, sure.' But there's other ones were like, I'll say, 'The female Shield.' Yeah, we will take that. We are very happy to be the female Shield. Yes," she said. [H/T: Fightful]

Roman Reigns is now the leader of the OG Bloodline on SmackDown and will be competing in the Men's WarGames Match this Saturday night at Survivor Series. Seth Rollins was asked to join Reigns' team, but he turned down the offer and claimed that he would never team up with his former stablemate again.
