Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently discussed a program for Becky Lynch if she returns to the Stamford-based company. The Man has been out of action for a while.

Becky Lynch's last match was on the May 27, 2024, episode of RAW, where she faced Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage Match. The Man lost the encounter and took some time off from WWE. However, with WrestleMania season coming up, fans have started speculating if the 37-year-old is due for a return.

This week on Writing with Russo, former WWE head writer Vince Russo detailed that it was a problem to book Lynch's return because she had been in and out of the company so many times in the past. He felt that The Man should deliver a retirement speech on her comeback and WWE could have a heel attack her during the promo. Russo felt this was the only way to book her in a compelling storyline:

"It's so hard because she's just another one, in and out, in and out, in and out. I mean, you can only go in and out so many times. The only thing I could possibly think of is if she gives a promo she's not coming back. She realized what motherhood was all about and that's where she belongs and she wants to say goodbye to the fans. Then you have a heel (attack her). I mean beyond that what else could you do with Becky? It's so many times in and out, in and out." [From 14:53 onwards]
