The WWE Universe has been buzzing for the last week over the status of Roman Reigns' relationship with Paul Heyman. Tonight's loaded SmackDown episode is one of the last stops on the road to Survivor Series: WarGames, and things are heating up for The Bloodline. Sources have just revealed a big update on what's in store for the top blue brand storyline.

The Wiseman has been away since late June after being destroyed by The New Bloodline for failing to acknowledge Solo Sikoa. Heyman's return has been one of the hottest topics of discussion since then, with increased rumors and speculation as Survivor Series gets closer. In an attempt to call in a favor for WarGames, last week's SmackDown ended with Reigns trying to call Heyman, only to discover the phone number is no longer in service.

The New Tribal Chief is set to follow up on last week's WWE SmackDown cliffhanger in a major way tonight, according to PWInsider. Current plans call for "big advancements" to be made in the current creative angle between Roman and his Special Counsel.

Sources were not clear on if Heyman will actually return to WWE TV tonight. However, there had been talk of keeping the Hall of Famer away until Survivor Series. The former ECW boss is expected to bring the fifth man to The OG Bloodline's team for WarGames, speculated as Seth Rollins or Brock Lesnar.
