The Bloodline saga has been the most popular storyline in WWE for years now, with several members of the Anoa'i family taking center stage. Lance Anoa'i is the newest addition of the illustrious family to the company's stacked roster.
The 32-year-old was linked to a potential WWE signing for several months before a picture surfaced of him training down in NXT. Soon, it was confirmed that Lance Anoa'i had indeed inked a contract with the Stamford-based promotion. He thus joined the long list of Anoa'i family members who were signed to the company.
Since the news of his signing got out, fans have been speculating about when we could see him pop up on TV. However, Fightful Select has now shared a grim update on Lance Anoa'i's future. It was noted that the former MLW star was currently injured and wasn't expected to wrestle until the end of the year.
It remains to be seen how things pan out for the talented 32-year-old star as he has all the tools to become a major player in the Bloodline saga.
A few days back in an interview, Trick Williams was asked about Lance Anoa'i being the newest high-profile WWE signing. The NXT World Champion stated that he was aware of Lance's potential and added that all the members of the Bloodline saga deserved the success coming their way owing to their hard work:
"Man, it never ends," Williams burst out laughing. "No, for real, Lance is cool. I've known him for a little while now, too. But shoutout to them. They deserve it. Their family, their Bloodline, literally has been putting in work for a long time," he said.
Lance Anoa'i is expected to spend a good time down in NXT once he's cleared, where he could hone his skills before eventually being called up to the main roster.
