Welcome back to another edition of WWE News Roundup. In today's piece, we will look at topics revolving around Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman, among others.
Also, an employee was fired after a major incident involving The Undertaker. We will check it out in addition to covering the RAW results. So without any further delay, let's begin:
The Survivor Series go-home edition of Monday Night RAW featured multiple enthralling matches in addition to several segments. Gunther and Damian Priest came face-to-face ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship match where the former Judgment Day member once again had the upper hand.
We also heard from Solo Sikoa and Jey Uso ahead of the WarGames advantage match on SmackDown.
Here are the complete results from the show:
The Undertaker was once involved in an accident as a pyrotechnics error caused him to be engulfed in flames during his entrance at Elimination Chamber 2010.
JBL recently detailed that the person responsible for the error was fired immediately and never seen again:
"It could have killed him. It's insane how stupid, stupid this was. You can't make that mistake. You can't put live pyro on the one place that anybody, much less your star of the company, is gonna be. I mean, this guy, what a freaking bozo. So, it happened. Needless to say, when 'Taker came back, that guy had been fired already and never was seen again."
The Undertaker also spoke about the incident on his Six Feet Under podcast, noting that the crew member claimed that the pyrotechnics were placed correctly before the show.
WWE distanced itself from Brock Lesnar after the superstar was seemingly referenced in a lawsuit against Vince McMahon. However, the Beast Incarnate has been referenced several times on TV programming in the last few months. He was also namedropped on RAW last night as Xavier Woods taunted Kofi Kingston for losing the WWE Championship to Lesnar in six seconds.
There is still no word on when Brock could return to action. He last entered the squared circle at SummerSlam 2023 where he lost to Cody Rhodes.
Braun Strowman has been on the shelf since his 'Last Monster Standing' match against Bronson Reed on RAW in September. The former Universal Champion suffered an injury during the match which has kept him on the sidelines.
Amid his in-ring hiatus, the Monster of all Monsters has teased working on a new project.
Strowman is also expected to return to action soon. He also recently teased joining Roman Reigns' team for the WarGames match at Survivor Series. However, that slot has been filled by CM Punk.
