Welcome to the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's WWE News Roundup, where we look at the biggest stories in the world of wrestling over the past 24 hours. Today, we have some huge exclusive updates involving Brock Lesnar and Goldberg.

Kevin Owens is also in the news following his suspension. He recently spoke out and has given the company a huge ultimatum. So, without further ado, let's get into today's biggest news.

#3 Huge update on Goldberg vs. Gunther

It seems like Goldberg is set to return to the ring for one final match against Gunther. It was heavily teased at Bad Blood after The Ring General insulted the WWE Hall of Famer. WrestleVotes has an update on when their match could take place.

Speaking during the Live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, the insider suggested everything was planned before Bad Blood. He also stated there might be plans for an angle between Gunther and Goldberg at Crown Jewel. That would lead to a match on the Survivor Series undercard.

This means the former WCW star could interfere in the WWE Crown Jewel Championship match in Saudi Arabia, costing The Ring General against Cody Rhodes. It will be interesting to see whether Goldberg does come back to challenge the World Heavyweight Champion next month.

#2 Kevin Owens breaks his silence

Currently suspended by WWE, Kevin Owens has taken to Twitter/X to address his situation with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. This came after the former Universal Champion attacked them both on separate occasions over the past two weeks.

KO uploaded a clip of him talking about it, stating that he wanted to share his side of the story. However, WWE refused to air the video he submitted to them on RAW. Owens threatened to release the video on social media if it wasn't shown on SmackDown on Friday:

"I sent them a video that I hoped they would air on RAW last night, and they didn't. So nobody could hear what I have to say. But of course, they had plenty of time for Cody to talk, but not for me (...) So I'm giving them until Friday, this Friday on SmackDown, to air my video, so that people can hear what I have to say. And if they don't, then I guess I'll post it here," said Kevin Owens.

It remains to be seen whether Kevin Owens' video will be played on SmackDown. This storyline can go in multiple directions from here.

#1 Brock Lesnar returning to WWE?

Following multiple references to the 'Beast' on RAW, there has been a lot of speculation on Brock Lesnar potentially returning to WWE. The former UFC star has been away since last August after his return was canceled earlier this year after seemingly being alluded to in Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon.

During the Live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes commented on Lesnar's status. Upon being asked whether The Beast Incarnate would return to WWE, he simply said "Yes."

Bill Apter further stated that his sources in the company indicated that talks are potentially ongoing. So, it seems like Brock Lesnar might be on his way back after over a year away from the ring.
