Fans have heaped praise on Conor Bradley on social media following his display in Liverpool's UEFA Champions League clash against Real Madrid. The match ended in a 2-0 win for the Reds at Anfield on November 27.
Following an eventful yet goalless first half, the home side opened the scoring with Alexis Mac Allister's right-footed shot after being set up by Bradley in the 52nd minute. Cody Gakpo doubled the lead with a header from close range via an assist by Andy Robertson following a short corner in the 76th minute.
Along with his assist, Bradley attempted two shots (one on target) and four tackles (two successful) in the match, before being replaced by Joe Gomez in the 87th minute. The 21-year-old right-back had 70 touches and one key pass while maintaining a pass accuracy of 84% and winning eight duels.

Conor Bradley started his senior career with Liverpool in 2021, following which he went on a season-long loan to Bolton Wanderers (2022–2023). The right-back has helped keep seven clean sheets in 12 appearances across competitions for the Reds this season.
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has shared his thoughts on his team's impressive win against Real Madrid in the Champions League. The victory was their first in the last nine matches against Los Blancos, including the 2018 and 2022 finals.
Slot admitted that the win against the European champions, their first since 2009, was special, especially considering Real Madrid's record in the competition. The former Feyenoord manager told TNT Sports (via This Is Anfield):
"I wouldn’t say it is the same as any other one because you know how special it is to play against a club that won this Champions League so many times and are the reigning champions as well, dominated Europe for the last few years and were a pain in the a*** for Liverpool many times as well."
Liverpool are the only team with a 100% record in the Champions League this season and sit comfortably at the top of the table with 15 points.
