Wicked City Season 3 is finally here, and this time the witches might have more complicated obstacles on their way. Set in Atlanta, the series follows the adventures of 5 modern-day witches, who try to practice and strengthen their magic, but end up unleashing evil forces into the human world.
Created by Serena M. Lee and Kristin Iris Johnson, the series first premiered on December 1, 2022, on the ALLBLK streaming service. After Season 2 ended on December 7, 2023, the series was renewed for a third season on February 15, 2024. On September 27, 2024, ALLBLK released the official trailer for Wicked City Season 3.
The debut episode of Season 3, titled "New Beginnings and Terrified Ends" will premiere on October 17, 2024, on the ALLBLK. The synopsis of the episode reads:
"Jordan moves in with Angela and Sherise; the coven train with Claudette who is secretly the vessel for Oya; a new Council rises causing a rift between Caden and Claudette; a witch named Rachel crosses paths with a child with deadly intent."
What is the plot of Wicked City Season 3?
In the previous seasons, the group of urban witches join hands forming their coven. They together push their powers to new heights after uncovering powerful secrets, and adventitiously entering the prohibited world. But by the end of Season 2, the audiences see the group being dismantled.
Unknown to the rest of the members, Caden and Tabitha are trapped in a nightmare world, as Claudette takes her revenge. Sherise is being held captive by The Handler, while Angela fails to find her. Mona moves away from the group, while Claudette puts Camille into hiding.
In Wicked City Season 3, there is a supernatural virus on the leash that could potentially end everything. The urban witches must find a way to get back to each other and stop this virus and fever from spreading.
They must gather all their powers, and fight against a rising enemy, originating from a very dark place. The latest season will explore the themes of control, power, and resistance.
