WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio might still be a few years away from in-ring retirement. Recently, wrestling analyst Peter Rosenberg predicted the next international destination for the company and that he wouldn't mind watching Mysterio's final match happening at a certain place.

Rey Mysterio has spent three decades being a professional wrestler and won titles across the world in different promotions. However, The Master of 619 decided to make WWE his final stop before he finally hung up his boots.

Speaking on WWE Deutschland, analyst Peter Rosenberg was asked where he would like to see the company host its next international premium live event in the coming months. The 45-year-old personality said Mexico would be an ideal venue for a PLE and added he would love to see Rey Mysterio's last match in Mexico City if it pans out that way.

"I mean, what about Mexico City? I mean, when you think about the amount of superstars of Mexican heritage and the impact that Mexican people have had on many fields, particularly this [professional wrestling] field. It's just so deep. To me, I would absolutely love to go to a huge event in Mexico City. Maybe it's like Rey Mysterio's last match or whatever it might be," Rosenberg said. [From 17:17 to 18:00]

Rey Mysterio won a title after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

Last year, Rey Mysterio was in a heated feud with Dominik Mysterio, which often crossed brands. Later, The Master of 619 accepted his son's challenge, and the two met in the ring at WrestleMania 39.

Over the weekend, Mysterio also revived the Latino World Order with the help of Legado Del Fantasma. In the coming months, the faction stacked wins and gained momentum on Friday Night SmackDown.

In August 2023, Rey Mysterio replaced Santos Escobar and defeated Austin Theory to become the new United States Champion. Very few legends have won a title after entering the Hall of Fame, and Mysterio added his name to that rare list.

The veteran has another opportunity to add more gold to his already long list of accolades as he's set to take on American Made with Dragon Lee in a Qualifier Match. If Mysterio and Lee win on WWE RAW, the two get one step closer to a title shot against the World Tag Team Champions on RAW.
