Everybody is wondering about the status of Big E ahead of The New Day's 10th anniversary special that will be the theme of Monday Night RAW on December 2. A new update has seemingly revealed WWE's plans.
On WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC spoke a bit about the tensions between The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. This came after their highly acclaimed backstage segment following a humiliating defeat to the Alpha Academy this past Monday on RAW. The segment saw both brothers in arms verbally tear each other into shreds, setting up their 10th anniversary in the craziest way possible.
JoeyVotes stated that Big E was slated to be on next week's RAW for The New Day's 10th anniversary special segment. He was reportedly in the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, along with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, to film videos that have yet to air. No update was provided on whether the 38-year-old was cleared for in-ring action.
It seems all but guaranteed that The New Day reunion will feature all three members. Everybody wants to know what's going to happen when all three of them are together for the first time in a long time.
It's incredible to think that they haven't been properly united in nearly four years now. After Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were drafted to RAW in 2020, Big E's neck injury in March 2022 ensured that they couldn't be together on television.
On Fanatics Live last month, Tyler Breeze and Big E answered questions from fans, and the former WWE Champion gave an unfortunate update on his in-ring return.
"I'm not medically cleared yet, but we will see," he said. [H/T: RSN]
It will be interesting to see if The New Day member returns to in-ring action in the future.
